This trader Joe's has the most amazing and friendly staff I've ever encountered. I actually look forward to my weekly shopping visits to this store and am actually appalled at the customer Mabel for making acquisitions as she did in her comment. I would give this store 5 stars times over if I could. Using the presidential election and using your race as a playing card is disgusting in today's day and age and you should be ashamed of yourself. No one in that store even has the capability to be racist or condescending to anyone. I wish you the best of luck in your shopping adventures. Joe of the times, I like this location, and in general, the employees here are polite. However, this is regarding the interaction between my mother and an employee named Sheri? My mother buys avocados frequently from here for her small business, and the quality has to be good, of course. Today, when she was buying her avocados along with other groceries, the cashier named Sheri looked like she was having a horrible day. No hello, no eye contact nothing. Then my mom asked her to put the avocados in a plastic bag to separate them from others. She had to say this about THREE times really loudly to even get the cashier's attention. When she finally heard my mom, no words were exchanged - she literally tossed everything out of the paper bag and tossed all the avocados in a plastic bag then pretty much threw a couple of other groceries into the cart. Did not even ask how she wanted others to be packed. Then my mom asked why she threw all the avocados, now she might not be able to use them when bruised Rather than apologizing or even trying to communicate, she put her hands to her ears and loudly said, quite belligerently, "I did not hear you," then told my mom to get some others then if she doesn't want these anymore. Now, my mom does have an accent and often speaks in broken English, but these are SIMPLE requests and SIMPLE, predictable interactions - she has never had such an encounter elsewhere before. This woman, Sheri, is FAR from professional, incredibly rude, rough and grouchy - does Trader Joe's not "filter out" these employees? I cannot imagine burlington being OK with this kind of "customer service. She obviously does not belong in a line of work where she has to interact with other humans. Oh TJ, my first wine and friend. The only constant through the ages Great selection of standbys and new goodies alike. More spacious than the wormhole one in BackBay, but no burlington collection like the bar staples in Coolidge Corner or Framingham. Oh and on rainy nights in the summer, steer clear of the spots close to Petco lest you want to bring home a little amphibian hitchhiker. I always go there during weekdays after work. Never had any problem with crowds or parking. It's a standard trader Joe. Never had any problem finding what I need. Very organized and clean. Great customer service as well! It happened again today as I was approaching the cashier, an older man was standing between 2 cashiers and I asked him politely which cashier that he wanted, he said and pointed to the woman cashier on his L and the older man moved and got into the line for the woman cashier. I went to the R, a male cashier, John. John said right away, pointing at the older man, "he was ahead of trader. I walked into the shortest line, that's all! Is John trying to show that not just her saying that I was trying to get ahead in the line but now he is saying the same burlington. Several weeks ago I was there and standing in line for the same woman cashier that said that I was trying to get ahead of people. Joe took wine look at me and asked Katie, the captain at Trader Joe, to check me out for my groceries. I guess she is not going to forgive wine forget!!! Now she even burlington a co-worker to accuse me the same thing. I know what to do now every time when I am at Trader Joe's checking out. Wait for the next review!!! I love shopping at Trader Joe's! It's a bit far from my home but the drive there is always worth it. I love walking in and being greeted by the beautiful flowers and fruit arrangements wine so Instagram worthy. The employees are friendly and eager to help. I always discover something wine to try when I'm there. I love their veggie burgers, chips, pretzels, juices, french macarons, mango cream bars, chocolate Everything is super affordable. LOVE trader Joes, esp this location. Love their flowers, fresh fruits, healthy foods, and their attention to kids! They have kiddie sized carts and a lobster toy you can find in store in order to get stickers or a lollipop or both! It really brightens kids day! I need it for cooking: D This has become our new Trader Joe's location since moving to Burlington and we've been happy with it. Trader Joe's is the only place we buy frozen meals from. We love their Indian and Asian frozen food selection. Our favorites items are; bimbibap, char siu bao pork bunschanna masala chickpea, Indianchicken tikka masala, nova smoked salmon, sweet potato tortilla chips, pita chips, and mochi. Their mochi is something to note because it's really good probably the best around and HMART sells it for almost double! They seem to have everything we found in the Alewife location and with much less of a crowd sweet. Sometimes they don't seem to have enough cashiers on hand but they are good at identifying this and getting someone to open another register. I love Trader Joe's, including this location. The frozen food is excellent: Indian food, Japanese rice, frozen mini pies, pear tartes, etc. The chocolate is also tasty, trader they've been joe down on the amount of milk vs dark chocolate, which is disappointing I love milk chocolate. The produce is fresh too. One thing that irks me though is that sometimes you really have to dig through the shelves to trader salads that don't expire within the next day or so. Prices are reasonable too. So much better than the Arlington location. Bigger, better lay out. Big parking lot so finding a space wasn't difficult even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon in the complex. I'm a big far of Trader Joe's, especially for their organic produce at cheap prices. The bag of organic rainbow peppers when they have it is a good deal. I also tend to find a lot of reasonably-priced Vegan Soy-Free options here mainly breads, cereals - sometimes chocolate. I must also mention their greeting cards This store is on the smaller side, but doesn't feel too crowded. Availability is decent, although I have had a couple times that I came in specifically for coconut oil or something and they were out. The staff seems moderately friendly - the cashiers are nice. I never have really interacted with anyone on the floor. Parking lot trader not my favorite, but what can you do. This Traders is one of my favorites! There is plenty of parking, the staff is friendly as always, and the selection is as good as it gets due to the size of the store. I've even forgotten my debit card in my car and the staff took my bag and placed it in the cooler for me! Joe downfall is the location, if you come here on a weekend when not only BBB and trader mall is busy, the main road is PACKED and hard to get to and from the store. During the holidays and Black Friday there is a police detail. The only con and its not against the store but the parents in it, for some reason the children think its ok to race the child size carts and Ive been nailed in the back of my burlington twice while visiting this store. Don't get me wrong I love kids, I worked for a pediatrics trader for quite some time but watch your children. Gluten Free foods marked. Always fast service and helpful friendly workers. The meats are a bit expensive and not top quality I love the unique things you can get at TJ's. Nothing looks all that fresh and they sold me a rotten pineapple. They have a great selection of frozen items which are easy to cook. Malcolm was the guy giving samples and we chatted for a good 15 minutes about odds n ends. The worst Trader Joe's I have ever been to and I will not be back. Unfriendly staff with the customers, constant chit-chat with each other which is RUDE to the customer. My cashier acted like he would rather be getting a root canal than waiting on customers. Did not listen to me when I told him the stuff at the front of my basket needed to be run up separately. This made him have the manager void an item he rang up accidentally and this REALLY made him even MORE sulky. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HIS BEHAVIOR! When leaving, I told the cashier to have a good one and he completely ignored me. If I had the power to fire his lazy, pouting, stupid ass I would! It can be a little crazy getting into and out of the parking lot here, especially during weekends and busy hours. While the selection burlington isn't that much different than other Trader Joe's, for some reason, I've always had better luck finding good produce at this particular one than others. It's very spacious and well laid joe. The flowers are a bargain and I don't need a man to buy me flowers although that would be nice. I treat myself every week. Actually the staff gave me a bouquet after my knee surgery. My favorite one is at Alewife and I love all the staff here. When wine my daughter in California I shop in Alameda and just as in Cambridge the people are lovely. It seems like most of the supermarket ones are mealy these days. Everything wine the frozen food section looks insanely delicious. The produce is stupidly cheap. I didn't have to fight to get a parking spot, I didn't wait in line, and the cashier offered advice on how I could get the same juice as I was getting non-refrigerated in a bigger bottle for a better price.
